A peek inside a Chinese home

Halfway through our rickshaw tour, our tour guide took us into a home. The family opens their home to tourists; allowing them to have a first hand glimpse into the Chinese life.

Their house was very small.

In their house, the woman runs a small business. She hand paints bottles. Using long, thin brushes, she paints countless scenes. All bottles represent China.

Some of her handiwork.

A demonstration of the slow yet beautiful process

The kitchen - resembles kitchens in public housing here in Singapore
